Cream of Tomato Soup

2 cups tomatoes
2 teaspoons sugar

2 cups milk
4 Tablespoons flour
1 slice of onion
4 Tablespoons butter or margarine

1 teaspoon salt
pepper

Cook tomatoes, onion, and sugar for about 5 minutes. Strain. Make white sauce of milk, butter and flour. Add strained tomatoes slowly, stirring constantly. Season with salt and pepper.

This is something I’ve thought about doing for several years now, but lately I haven’t been able to get if off my mind. The time must be right. I’ll be going through my favorite recipes and sharing them with, potentially, the world. But, I don’t cook so very much and will run out of recipes quickly. I’ll need the help of my friends, internet and real world to keep this site going. Can I count on you?
